Capacity Strengthening
NFA has been working with our partner organizations in Bangladesh, India, and Malaysia to support their strategic planning process and to provide any ad-hoc support requested. NFA is focusing on garnering multi-year unrestricted support for the partner organizations and is thus facilitating the process of preparing organizational strategic plans.
- Council of Minorities
NFA has been working with the Council of Minorities in Bangladesh to support the drafting process of their strategic plan. NFA organized a strategic planning workshop and is now preparing the draft of the strategic plan. The purpose is to collectively finalize the strategic plan and raise funds for the organization.
NFA in collaboration with Council of Minorities is undertaking a study on ‘Right to nationality and the risk of statelessness faced by the Urdu-speaking community in Bangladesh’.
- Development and Justice Initiative (DAJI)
NFA has been working with DAJI in India to support the drafting process of their strategic plan. NFA organized a strategic planning workshop and is now preparing the draft of the strategic plan. The purpose is to collectively finalize the strategic plan and raise funds for the organization.
NFA in collaboration with DAJI is undertaking a study on ‘Legal validity of the NRC process and its effects on statelessness’.
- Family Frontiers
NFA in collaboration with Family Frontiers organized a workshop on social media activism inviting affected mothers from Malaysia. The workshop aimed to identify strategic methods of engaging in social media advocacy. We also prepared a Guideline for the activists to support their work.
Guideline on Using Social Media Platforms to advocate for gender equal nationality rights
NFA is planning to organize a strategic planning workshop with Family Frontiers to draft their strategic plan.
